Possibly the worst post office I've ever been to in my 38 years of living mostly in rural Appalachia. Workers routinely did not wear masks throughout the pandemic, didn't even try to stay behind the tiny pieces of plexiglass on the counter, loudly talked with customers, was most likely a covid hotspot. On more than one occasion has been out of stamped envelopes (??), only finding out after waiting 15+ min in a line. Literally worth driving out of your way to go to a different one
Package left on ground under the mailbox. Has brazing these lazy varmint going up to the house and take package off the porch. When the package isn't a foot from the road those varmint can just lean out of car and grab the package, off they. I live all most a mile off main road. I'm pretty sure this was a relief. Please be nice and take to carport. Thanks
I thought the blonde lady was condescending...I had one question and you would have thought I had 20. I’ve always liked that post office, but it only takes one bad experience to change your mind.
Clerks are always friendly and helpful. I come often to this post office because I work nearby and I rarely have to wait more than a couple minutes. Many times I’ve walked right up to the counter with no wait at all.
Ordered from amazon. Carrier came to address on a Saturday and did not deliver the package stating via an email that “there was no driveway or front door”. There is a driveway and a front door. There is also a mailbox. I called the following Monday to inquire and was brushed off. Then the package turned up delivered in the mailbox on that same Monday. I called back again to inquire what was different between Saturday and Monday but no one answered the phone.nYou draw your own conclusion but my conclusion is that the Blountville Post Office ain’t working to a high degree of effectiveness.
