I've lived in 4 different places in The Highlands area. The postal service is awesome. How they work, so stressed and doing awesome. Thank you for providing us with the only communication, should we loose power, be safe we know delivery is getting worse. Who knows. But I'm glad they can be counted on most of the time. I overnighted a new tag for a vehicle that I purchase out of county. I handed the clerk the envelope he pushed down on it twice.. ask his normal questions , i payed the fee. I received a call the next day from the mail recipient that upon opening the envelope my tag was bent in the letter V. I called the Post officer spoke to female supervisor who was rude and blamed me for not protecting the tag. Really, I stated there are no signs advising about protecting the items. her response well it is common sense. I advised he that people do not think alike, her response common sense, . No response from the clerk pressing on the package and advising to allegedly wrapping the tag, like bubble wrap would have made a difference. This so called supervisor is need of customer service skills, comminutions skills, and processualism.
800 number did nothing for me. Can't talk with a real person. Pkg was marked delivered sent to my email address. Great service, we had an unusual situation. We are renting a house in Inverness that doesn't have a mailbox, so we couldn't get a package delivered. Leslie was great, she found the package and we were able to pick it up at the post office.
Terrible Post Office. Today is the last time I use this place. The staff don't know their heads, from their feet. Trying to tell me that you can't mail a ring, or mail using bubblewrap, item must be in a box, and that you can only mail to Canada with registered mail. What a load of codswhallop. I mail items around the world daily.nnWe walked out,, and went to Hernando Post Office instead, and had no problem mailing the exact package to Canada.. The staff there at least know what they are doing...
