Wonderful little office! Clerks are always cheery and Cindy the post master is amazing!
My husband was there this morning. Staff were not wearing masks, and allowed 4 customers plus themselves in a small room, putting everyone at risk and violating the law. They also ignored my husband's request to send packages book or parcel rate and sent one overnight and one 3-day, resulting is excessive charges. This was a horrible experience. Now they refuse to answer their phone, and I can't get to customer service at the 1-800-number to report them.
Phone automation is a joke
The USPS post delivery here routinely leaves our packages out in the rain to soak for hours before we get home. We have a covered porch that, with minimal effort, they could walk 20 extra feet to deliver but instead they leave boxes to be soaked and damaged in the rain. This happens on a routine basis and is not acceptable.
Big shout out to the mailman who threw my box onto my porch (I saw him out the window) as he shattered my ceramic coffee grinder inside.
