The line is ridiculously long. I work at Woodhull hospital 1 block away and need access to the Post office at times. I have 1 hour for lunch and that is still not enough time to get services. However, the postal workers are helpful when I finally do get served:)

Very slow. Two hours on line waiting to be seen and it wasn’t even busy. They should have an organized package pickup strategy in place so things could move faster.

Mail delivery in 11206 is complete chaos. Important packages and letters languish for days in transit only to disappear into this black hole and never be seen again. Tracking updates are routinely falsified to cover up the failure to deliver. Even though clearly marked, mail is often delivered not only the the wrong apartment, but to the wrong building and sometimes the wrong street. I recommend everyone sign up for free Informed Delivery service from the post office so you can see what letters are SUPPOSED to arrive at your house on what days. Be prepared to be shocked how many letters are never delivered.nnThere is no accountability whatsoever. Complaints are ignored. From now on, when ordering online I will specifically check to make sure that at no point in time will my item pass through the hands of this bottomless pit, otherwise I might as well just throw my money away, since their fraudulent tracking updates can prevent you from getting a refund from the retailer.nnIf you are unfortunate enough to visit this office in person, you will typically be greeted by a long line around the block of people desperately trying to locate their packages. After an hour or more of waiting outside in the weather, you will discover that only one window is open inside. Quite often, this post office does not have change, does not have money orders and does not have stamps. When the post office itself does not have stamps, then you know that the end is near. This place is in the process of dying.

1 person working on the window while the line drags around the corner.nnI could only imagine how they manage this with the summer heat approaching with seniors waiting outside.nnUSPS also makes no attempts to deliver any packages and no notices are ever left.nnI have no issues with FedEx or UPS bringing up packages.

Let’s start from the beginning, I waited a package to be delivered at my place but for whatever reason, even if I was at home all day, it was marked as un able to deliver (the driver didn’t ring, or put any notice on my door).nSo I decide to reschedule as a pick up to this usps place and here is a couple of things that should change.n- if the place should open at 9am then open at 9 and not 9:30am.n- don’t yell at customern- don’t disrespect a customern- if you don’t like your job then leave it, or be grateful to have one during the pandemic.nnI understand that you have a lots of pressure in you work but if you can’t handle it then quit.
