There are many things negative I could say about this post office. For one the mail carries refuse to deliver any of my packages and make me run to the post office every time if it won't fit in my mail box. I was told it was due to the safety of the driver but yet this same driver will deliver others, I have personally seen this.nSince I have moved to Fairview my mail box has been knocked down four times and I have had to completely remove and install a new one just for it to be knocked down again. When asked it I could move my mail box to a safer location not only for my mail box but for myself as the road I live on is a high traffic area I was denied. If I had known more about this area I probably would have decided against my home purchase.

Lisa , who is the mail carrier for my last home, huh as gone ABOVE and beyond her scope of job duties to insure the professionalism and outstanding level of service for my specific situation and for all those she services for the Fairview are. I simply want to give her the recognition and appreciation she deserves and it’s because of her , that I give this location a 5 star rating !

My normal mail often arrives half ripped/torn or partially opened up somehow...nOn several occasions I do not receive my packages on time. I am seriously tired of tracking my package when it doesn't show up just to see that it says:nYour item is being held at the FAIRVIEW, TN 37062 post office at 2:04 pm on January 14, 2021. This is at the request of the customer.nnThis seems to happen almost half the time if USPS touches a package. I work from home and my office has a window looking right at my front door and I can see my mailbox clearly. I saw a the mail guy in the little red car or suv stick stuff in the mailbox today. I can only assume it was easier to just say I wanted him to keep my package at the post office again rather that stand up and walk.

I googled the hours of the fairview post office this morning and started reading the reviews. You have no idea how happy I am to read that I am not the only person in the area who has problems with our local post office. I also never get signature packages delivered, my rent check has gone missing about five times since I have lived here. One time it was a month late because the carrier did not pick up the outgoing mail for about three weeks. I had a package that was never delivered but the carrier marked it as delivered. When I made a claim about it the manager called me and said the carrier said she left it in a package box but could not remember what one. What? My guess at this point is that the carrier stole it because that same week I had another package go missing and the manager was able to find that one, hmm. . . .nnLike others have said, the counter service is nice and friendly but the carriers are lazy and really don't care.nnEdit: I also wanted to add that I have also had numerous other packages marked as delivered but they didn't end up in my box for up to two days after. I also receive others mail on a daily basis. Some of it kind of important.

They have had my keyboard now for 12 days. It's only update was that it was in the Fairview branch, 5 hours away. I could have gone and picked it up. No response, no nothing. No updates, just limbo. If it's rolling around in a truck its for sure broken. Electronic keyboards are not built for that kind of abuse. I have been saving up for this keyboard for years. Thanks USPS for sucking so hard.
