They tried to blame everyone but themselves when it came to the mishandling of my package. After calling their main office with no help, I was able to call Best Buy customer service only to discover that it WAS in fact USPS's fault and that the package was LOST. Thankfully a new package has been sent, and Best Buy has started an investigation to discover exactly what happened!
When we 1st moved here delivery was great. Past year or so, not. My meds. went to another house and got opened. We get mail for those who moved 7 yrs. ago. We got mail for another development, only the house number was similar. Several times outgoing mail was not all removed from our box. It's not complicated read carefully and check to be sure the box is empty.
I have been using this post office for over 20 years and I have never found them to be anything but courteous and helpful. During the pandemic I have been getting lots of packages by mail and my carrier always puts them along with the rest of that day's mail on my front porch, which is set well off the street. There can be a long line at the post office but they move people along while patiently taking the needed time with each. I have never seen them chatting with each other or slacking off when people were waiting. We are very blessed to have such great people and we should thank them every day.
The employees are always friendly and efficient. They are very helpful.
Not sure if the Southport Post Office has ever heard of Alexander Graham Bell, and if they have, they certainly do NOT know how to answer his invention!!!
