The workers here are always so rude. I’ve lived in many areas around Alaska and this post office is hands down the worst. Bare minimum is their motto.

Unfriendly worker there & very bad service.

They deserve 0 stars, but since I can't do that, here's 1.nnThey rarely deliver packages, and wouldn't even put a redeliver slip in the mailbox until I complained to the Post Master. So no they still don't deliver my packages but at least I get a redeliver slip now.

Chugiak deserves better customer service. Never very helpful or friendly, but today was too much. Received a pickup slip in my PO box for a package, dated 2/28. Wasn’t expecting something, but unexpected packages aren’t exactly a rare phenomenon, could be anything. Went to the counter and they look and say there is nothing. So, I decided to leave the slip in my box, try another day, maybe I can figure out if a family member sent a package and get a tracking number. On my way back to the box, saw more employees and asked if they could check again to be sure. The one employee came back and it was somehow my fault for not having a tracking number, or my family already picked it up and returned the slip to the box after pickup (that made zero sense). I left feeling like I was to be at fault for this and be ashamed. It’s not that unusual to get or send suprise packages as gifts around a birthday or holiday, right? Now trying to solve the case of the package that may or may not have ever existed...

They don’t deliver half your packages, then when you go in to pick them up there since they won’t try again they can’t usually find them. Then when some of them end up showing up weeks later the boxes are beaten up like they fell out of a truck. A couple of them looked like they got ran over by a truck.
