2020 has been a very difficult year for the Postal Service! But I just want to say the Weaverville Post Office staff have been GREAT!!! They work so hard, and try their damnedest to get your mail to you. They even have to deliver packages for UPS, which I think is very unfair. MOST of my packages are never delivered by UPS, even though I have paid for door-to-door service! So our Post Office picks up the slack. We love you guys! Keep up the good work!

Honestly it's the best postal service place I've ever been to. They got good people there. And good staff. They are very dependable and I haven't had a problem with anything yet.

As I was retrieving my mail today, I was shocked by a customer service void at the Weaverville Post Office.nA man ran to the door at 4.29pm, as the postal worker was locking the door.nToday is the last day to send in taxes.nThe customer asked if he could please post his letter & have it postmarked for today.nThe postal worker bluntly denied him & finished locking the door.nFortunately, there was another customer inside who at least was prepared to buy a stamp for this shocked & baffled customer - effectively taking the same time as if he had been allowed in - but the postmark will still be a day late because this postal worker, who chose a customer service job, wasn't prepared to take an extra 30 seconds to serve a legitimate need... and finish 30 seconds before the posted close time.nI was dumbfounded.nI've not seen such poor service since I was last at the DMV.nI'm not sure this was poor customer service, as much as it was poor humanity.nCome on US Post Service! You can do better than this. Even on a bad day.

Very friendly and helpful. Employee was very nice.
