I went to hopefully locate my missing package. Tracking ends in NewRo. Still waiting for a phone call as to it's whereabouts.
I absolutely love the New Rochelle Post Office in Quaker Ridge. The lady behind the counter is very nice. I will get her name and update. She is super friendly and courteous. She’s been there a very long time. In any case I recommend this post office. They have really great hours. It is a bit tight but homely.
I had a very unpleasant experience interacting with one of the employees at this location. Her computer froze and rather than call for someone to help fix it or ring me up at another register, she chastised me for not having cash on hand(which, how would the sale be processed without the register?). She repeatedly used an ableist slur towards me. I will drive a little farther to avoid this location in the future.
With the late business hours, this post office was my best option to ship a package during the work week. Concerned with the Google reviews from other customers, I prepared myself for the horrible customer experience, just to ensure that I can ship my item in time. My total experience was completely pleasant and very professional, which puzzled me on the low rating, although I'm sure each user experience warranted the reactions. Nevertheless, I felt the need to leave a positive review and inform other customers who may be looking for a great location to ship their goods before the holidays.
