We live in Rockwood Village in Randolph. We, and many others in the Village are constantly getting mail in our boxes that belong to other people. I had 3 pieces of mail yesterday that belonged to other people in the Village. These pieces of mail were clearly marked with box numbers other than mine. This is not a rare occurrence, but has happened weekly and in some cases several times a week. On 3 different occasions after the Postal person has left the mail, the front cover to the mail boxes were left entirely open exposing everyone’s mail to the weather and theft. When this was reported to the Gardiner Post Office the clerk shrugged and said: “It happens”.
Postmaster has genuinely worked hard anytime I’ve ever called to rectify any situation or to educate me on policies I was in aware of and he always does it in a way that makes me feel listened to and not talked down to. Irene is also super helpful and always polite. She knows her stuff
I'm not going to mention names but there's a young lady there who makes it clear through her behavior and customer interactions that she absolutely hates her job. She's one of the most combative unhelpful people I've ever come in contact with and this is not based on a one-time experience. I have to go to this post office almost daily for my business and I have yet to see one time where she was helpful or even pretended to be happy.
Beware. This place is poorly managed. Never have I had to deal with such disrespectful people. I wonder if they just steal the packages they loose. I personally deliver packages and get receipt. Then never see again. Only expensive packages though????? Only priority mail as well I may add.
Staff are just down right mean and treat people with disrespect.
