Salute the Post office!
I’ve lived in Hutto 12 years. During that l have taken mail to six different neighbors that was mistakenly put in my box. I have also had neighbors leave mail on my porch that was in their mailboxes. Yesterday, 8/3/20 was the worst. There were 8 pieces of mail in my box that were for my neighbor across the street. This is unacceptable! I’m wondering if I am receiving all my mail. In a time when stimulus checks and unemployment checks are being sent in the mail it is very important that we have postmen/womenndiligently checking their work. Their carelessness can have a negative effect on the customer. Late payments, lost checks, etc. how do we address this problem?
I had a package that was supposed to have been delivered in my mailbox, but there was no package there and no key to the parcel. I called the post office, and they called the carrier right away. They were able to get the package in my box within the hour. Thanks!
I have had 2 packages that have had the wrong zip code on them. I have been able to call the post office, talk to a person, and have the issues fixed right away. During this time where people are stressed and could easily not answer the phone I appreciate the service that has been given to me each time.
Items end up waiting at the office, sometimes for days, just because the workers don't feel like delivering it all some days. Mostly on Saturdays when they decide to close early and force people to wait til Monday to get their mail. Have had this happen on several occasions. Not to mention the delivery times getting later and later as time goes on. Some people work later in the day and don't have time to wait til as late as 5PM just to get their mail. This place is in serious need of better management and workers altogether.
