Set up an appointment online in early March to get myself a passport just to get a call on my appointment date and hour prior to the time stating they won't be able to assist and if I wanted to schedule next day. I had put in time to make this appointment at my job so when I asked what time I may be able to come in to make up for cancelling I was told they were unsure and I would have to call at 7:30 AM to find out. I need to know a time to make up this appointment is because I work as well. This is unprofessional to me.

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time scheduling your passport appointment here. They were so kind to let me know my appointment was cancelled 1 hour before after weeks of waiting and gathering together all of the documentation they need. I mean seriously? I guess I shouldn't be surprised the U.S. government can't do anything effectively. I hope these people never have to find another job in their life, how utterly useless.

Someone needs to teach the senior/older African American lady that works up front how to treat customers. Today, my pregnant wife, carrying a toddler went to inquire about passport and was treated poorly and rudely. This is why you have 1.7 stars and so many negative reviews. Saw a post from 10 months ago talking and describing the SAME lady. The fact that she is still employed and treating customers rudely after so much time means that the entire management of this building is poor and should be fired/relieved. There are wayyyy too many people right now looking for employment that can do a much better job than her and quite frankly, it’s management for that matter. Clean up your act before someone who’s having a way worse day writes a letter to USPS or upper/regional management. What a disgrace, don't go here.

(Note: our regular mail carrier is awesome. He’s the nicest sweetest guy we’ve met. He stopped by the house to make contact and let us know he was looking for the package. He always waves to my kids and always smiles. I give him five stars.) Was supposed to have a package delivered to my residence. Watched the substitute driver put mail in my mailbox and driveway. Then received a notification a couple minutes later saying it was delivered to my front porch. I checked with neighbors- no one got my package. Spent 5 days dealing with workers in person and on the phone and never got anywhere. Got the same speech every time. I was finally told to go online and file a claim. I tried, but they won’t accept it because I didn’t pay for insurance. So now I’m out $70.

Like as all the usps, they are no where in a hurry to serve customer even the lines are all the way outside. Only one staff working sometimes, are all the others taking long break or lunch? And one I sent via priority mail went to the totally wrong state. It was a huge amount of check I wrote, and what are u gonna do about that?? Missing check?
