I have used this post office for years to do my business and personal shipping/Mailing. The staff has always been courteous and professional. I've seen customers get upset when they did not complete or attempt to complete the paperwork needed prior to getting to the window for service and are asked to go back and complete the paperwork so the staff can wait on those in line and not delay them. If clients attempt to complete necessary documentation the staff will work with them to ensure correctness and get their package off without asking them to step out of line. I think some negative comments here do not truly reflect the dedication of the staff at this post office.

Called to ask a pretty general question about a shipping issue I was having. The representative I spoke with couldn't possibly sound more bothered and disinterested. Its no wonder the USPS is in the trouble its in.

I have lived in Independence almost 15 years, and have had nothing but good experiences at this post office branch. There is rarely a long wait except for expected peak periods, and the staff has always been courteous and helpful. I really don't see where all the negatives are coming from. I really hesitate to say this, but if you don't like the 44131 branch, maybe you should give the Beachwood branch a try...

Had a great experience here. The lobby was very clean and neatly organized. The staff was very professional, fast and friendly. It’s a great location with ample parking spaces. They even had some friendly Christmas / holiday decor on display.
