This post office is ALWAYS friendly, they make multiple pickups for me weekly right from my front porch. Typically on time every day. I ship hundreds of items a year and I've only had two issues with my pickups, which were quickly fixed by a quick phone call to the post office. They are reliable and I couldn't run my business without them. I love the Anderson Post Office!!!

We operate a business on Beechmont Ave. and have always had puppies in our office. The carrier that has been delivering our mail for YEARS around dogs in the office all of a sudden decided to file a formal complaint and stop delivering mail to us because a 9 pound Boston Terrier puppy barked at him once. Common sense from a business standpoint: if the dog shows any sense of aggression, do you think a business would keep it in an office with people in and out all day? If a carrier can’t handle being around dogs, then they simply shouldn’t hold this position. It’s part of the job. Good luck trying to twist every citizens arm to get rid of their dogs, just so they can receive mail. Absolutely ridiculous.

Read the reviews before and my own fault for still going. Rude, rude, rude! Little old man was very rude and his behavior was unacceptable. Wished I wouldn't have walked out before I had his name. If anyone knows the man, please provide me with his name because I would like to file a complaint with the postmaster.

This place is a joke. They don't honor ebay shipping rates. They will tell you they don't have the proper boxes to ship items. They will over charge you EVERYTIME. A 3 lbs box they want 50 dollars to ship out (yesterday mornings experience) they have multiple reports filed on them regularly. And NO other post office treats people this way. I have to drive 30 mins away just to ship a 5x5x3 box because they wanna charge 12 bucks to ship it. I have an entire bag of receipts of money they have stolen from me.
