Inefficient and now have added ridiculousness to it...more people behind the counter than on line..now this location refuses to accept pre labeled packages.They want you to self scan the packages and leave boxes out in the lobby in a Hamper..!! I have boxes of antique Sterling Silver and Baccarat ..I'm not leaving it out there.If it gets stolen they will say not they're responsibility.So now must drive at this hour from this rubbish Westfield location to Maplewood.I used to ship half Usps half FedEx..now it is 0 to two packages it of 10.Good riddence

They lost a package I was mailing abroad. I went multiple times to the post office to see is there was anyway to find out what happened to the package. In both occasions the post office manager was not around. They took all my info but no one ever called me . The third and last time I went, their response was “there is nothing we can do . We don’t know where the package is. All we know is that it arrived to JFK but never left the US” .nCompletely useless .nUnfortunately, there is nothing lower than a one Star for rating.

I came to the westfield post office in central avenue to deliver three boxes and needed a receipt, there were three women behind the counter doing nothing, and they wouldn't give me a receipt instead they insisted I use the self service scanner in the room next door, I tried doing so but couldn't figure out how because I have never used such machine before, I went back next door and ask for assistance and was refused, not only that but I was told that after scanning myself I had to leave my packages in a cart in an unattended room where just about anybody can walk out with someone's belongings unnoticed; and my boxes hold a value of more than $2,000 . If we have to do self service these miserable woman should be fired. Only then I won't mind learning to scan my own packages and save on their salaries. I left and took my boxes with me and headed to Maplewood post office instead where the service is exceptional. Make a petition and have them fired if you feel they are not doing their job.. They are no help in anything Make sure you are 100% in everything you need to send to do passport because they won’t help you or inform you!!

Just like every other post office- this one sucks!
