I'd love to leave more than one star since any time I have needed to come here for stamps or money orders, things were great. Gets busy here at times, but the people working at the counter were nice.nnBut I have had three different addresses in the area this office provides service to, and at all three of them, over an 8 year span, I have had recurring issues with packages often not being delivered on time (specifically remaining at this location several extra days, at least, before delivery despite living less than a mile away), or disappearing after arrival here, or in the latest case being returned to the sender for reasons no one provided me (nor can I get anyone on the phone to explain) on the day it should have been delivered. This has never been an issue with anything delivered to me via FedEx, Amazon, etc. however. Only once this place is involved, if it's in a box of any kind.nnHighly recommend if you live in the Newport area and have the option for any USPS packages to be delivered elsewhere that you do just that. Any time I have had packages delivered via USPS to family several towns over, there are no problems.nnThis has been a recurring problem I experienced for 8 years at the Newport branch specifically, so not even sure if this location is redeemable at this point.
Horrible. Postal worker straight up lied and marked the package as delivered to a parcel locker, but never left a key in the mailbox for the locker. Package was not in any parcel locker. Had a very important package worth several hundred dollars, they were supposed to call me now after my third visit and haven't done so at all. Very unprofessional. Whoever delivers to 200 waterworks road should be fired
The delivery of my mail was thrown all over my front yard. That is not professional at allnI am very upset. By this. My wife will be calling u in the morning.
Supposed to be 1-3 day shipping. They have had my package for a week and it still hasn't shipped. Use another post office unless you want to waste money on shipping you wont receive.
Been waiting on my package all day says until 8 pm. It is 7:14 I get a text talking about at 6:57 pm today I requested my package to be held at the post office. Mind you I didn't I've been waiting all day confused why they put my wayer bill in my mail box but not my small package. Then make up that I requested for them to hold it. I will be filing a complaint as well as makimg sure my other package doesn't go through the same thing. This is ridiculous.
