My mail today, which included 2 packages, was forcibly shoved into my mailbox. One package contained 2 hardback books for my grandsons for Christmas. They are now broken. I have been home all day. They could have been brought to the door. $40 for 2 broken books. Laziness.
Whoever is working there today needs an attitude adjustment. I went in to inquire about a few packages that I couldn’t find. I was rudely told that “I shouldn’t send anything to my home address first off.” Then, I explained that the carriers said the package was delivered and available for pickup. I came to the PO last night at 4:55 and got my mail from my box. Then went in and got the 1 package they said was there. I went back this morning to try to see if they just missed it. They said “that’s because it’s in your box and you haven’t gotten your mail for awhile.” I was just there last night and got my mail. The packages were not in there. DO NOT TELL ME when I got my mail. I literally just got it last night and those packages were not in there. Both ladies were extremely rude. I hope you take this to heart. I am not the person who leaves reviews like this, so for me to do so, it’s bad.

The Metamora post office does a great job for the mostly rural area it serves. The main problem we have is that it actually closes down for an hour between 11 am and noon. Really? Staff can't go on staggered lunches?
The staff is rude and lazy.
