I have always had a good experience with this post office. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They have always gone the extra mile to try and solve whatever issues I have. The Keene Post Office is one of the bright spots in Keene, Texas.
Everyone now and then, Amazon or its seller would use USPS to deliver packages. And I don't know what's up with Keene mail person knowing that my store will not be open until 11am (store hours sign posted) that will insist on delivering, and they don't re-deliver, it's been few days now. Is that laziness or what? Just wondering. The problem is their job or business doesn't rely on their performance..
Long wait time
Since living in Keene for 3 years now the Post Office is always a hassle to deal with, they don't run on Saturdays due to the town being mostly Seventh Day Adventist so even if you are expecting a package you WILL NOT recieve it. Nobody inside has any clue as to what is going on with packages. They have no customer service what so ever. I STILL have yet to recieve a refund for my insured package that did NOT arrive on time.
Why is it they dont have a direct number to this post office?! You have to call a 1800 number to get in touch with someone, and even then the wait time is like an hour...Keene doesnt have that many people in the office to have a wait time of an hour.
