I had a package delivered there weeks ago, as I was leaving the base to go to Lackland. I stopped in before going to ask about forwarding to my location and the person there said I needed a specific box to send it to. I asked what else I could do and he said it would be returned to the sender... I asked for a phone number and they said they couldn't give me one... My mother (the sender) hasn't received any info or the package. The number listed on Google is the generic USPS customer service number and not the building's number. As far as I know my package is still sitting there. What the heck.
I went today at 0845. They are supposed to open at 0830. I got there and no one was there. A line formed behind me. We waited until 0915 and still no one had shown up. Since Mr. Lamar retired, there is no one there consistently. And they really do need more than 1 agent, especially between 1130 and 1300.
My mail keeps getting returned by the Hispanic carrier. He is very rude. He is costing me money to keep trying to have important documents sent to my F@#$ing home..
1:00 in the afternoon - I wait online 20 minutes and when I get to the front and I go to pay she says we don’t take cash - I don’t have a cash drawer and I get off at 1:30 - Are you kidding me! I could completely understand, our systems are down can’t take debit or credit cards but because this overpaid postal worker is clearly lazy she just doesn’t want the responsibility to have to close out a cash drawer after her shift. Then USPS wonders why there revenue is so low - the customer service is horrendous!!!
Mr. Lamar at the front desk on most days is kind, friendly and calm. He works efficiently and makes the process seamless. It's an easy and streamlined process. I've always had a great experience at this location since 2010
