US Post Office

Dear Man w/the Green Shirt + glasses who works at the USPS office on US-19,nnIn times like these - everyday kindness can go a long long way. Showing someone patience and warmth isn’t hard and does not take a lot of effort.nnWhen I went into your office today, I wasn’t greeted with kindness by you. I wasn’t treated with warmth or hospitality - I used the wrong boxes and you gave me a condescending tone/glance. I didn’t realize how it would look, trying to return clothes with the only boxes I had on hand at home, but you clearly let me know how foolish I was to do so.nnI had something else to ship - something that I was told was hand sanitizer but you quickly dismissed that as well - saying I was in “the same situation as the other boxes”.nnI’m not calling you rude, sir. I’m not accusing you of being disrespectful or harsh or belligerent or mean. What I’m saying is - you lacked kindness in your service to me today. The other lady working with you was kind and sweet, and I could hear it in her voice as she engaged with your other customers.nI wish she had serviced me instead - perhaps she would have clearly and kindly explained to me what I had done wrong and how to remedy it in a way that didn’t make me feel bad walking out of your office, that didn’t make me angry or almost in tears as I carried my boxes back to my car.nnThe man outside of your office, smoking a cigarette, at least had the kindness and decency to hold the door for me as I walked in.nnI wish you could’ve been a bit kinder to me today. I hope that it was just because you were having a bad day or because there was something stressing you. I hope you don’t speak to or treat any other customers who walk in today the same way you treated me. I pray you find joy in the rest of your day and week.nnSincerely,nThe girl in the tie-dye shirt.

Nicest lady working here. Very helpful. Went very above and beyond what was expected.

Doesn’t provide the full service post office. Don’t go here if you need other services done except drop off. This is more of a store that sells cards. Not really convenient if they don’t provide the full services. Otherwise in a location that is accessible. Located in a plaza. There are signs for the post office.

Very rude! The man removed the label from my package and put the package in a bag without saying a word to me! He didn't ask or suggest, he just ripped it off and switched it, stating he thought I would like it better. It is not HIS job to decide how MY package should look when being sent when there is no regulatory problem with it. I have mailed many before the same way with no problems or changes. Very demeaning and belittling, especially since he didn't change anything for the MAN who mailed a package right before me.

D’ann and Tom are wonderful people! They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. By far, this is the best post office in the area. I will go out of way to use this post office because of D’ann and Tom!
