From awful hours to bad service I would never recommend this place. Too bad people diluted the reviews with a good one awhile ago this place should be less than 1 Star.
None of their phone option lead to talking to an actual person. I went in prior to my package being delivered it was already days late and they wouldn’t hold it for me to pick up upon opening. Bad service far too slow and bad hours.
Not impressed with the service at Northfield VT PO. Our carrier is fine but the post office itself is often out of needed shipping materials and today we were told that a small package was unable to be delivered because they could not access our mail box. Yes, it snowed a lot yesterday, but our drive is totally clear and so are the two steps up to our back porch where our mailbox is -- this was stated as the cause they could not deliver. Phooey., it is totally accessible. We now use post office in Randolph, VT for mailing packages almost exclusively. This PO used to be a lot better a year ago -- what happened??
Unacceptable!!! I ordered some packages online that were to be delivered by Wednesday. Note was left that the mailbox was full... they are packages and would have been left on our doorstep. The house and porch are right by the road so this should not have been an issue. I scheduled for re- delivery the next day and note was left that packages didn't fit in delivery vehicle. This should have been a priority as my packages were supposed to be delivered the day before! I scheduled for delivery again the next day. It is now Saturday and my packages were still not dropped off!!! I am livid at this level of service and will be following up with the manager at the post office and the company I ordered from to discuss possible alternatives. Absolutely ridiculous. My husband and I both work full time 35 minutes away and haven't been able to pick up the packages at the branch location either - but they should have been delivered by this point anyway. Feeling so frustrated.
When trying to reach the local office(or any actual person) on the phone it is not handicap addressable at all. Incredibly frustrating
