My experience with this post office has generally been good. My main complaints are the size of the building, not the personnel running it.nnThe main lobby area is really small and there are two counters that can be, and often are, used as writing surfaces by customers. This causes a jam more times then not because there is simply no room in there.nnThe building location is not great either. It is tough to get into and out of due to traffic and people constantly blocking the area. If people are not blocking the intersection of Roya and Reynolds, they are blocking Roya (second exit from the post office) due to the stop light or trying to get Chinese food next door.nnIt is a mess in this area around 4 to 4:30 during the week. I have a day job so this is the only time I can make it here (forget lunch, it is ridiculous during that time).nnThere is so much traffic in that little area that it is sometimes outright dangerous to travel through there. People are constantly running the stoplight, or flat out blocking the whole intersection rather than waiting for the next light cycle.nnOnce you get in though, the ladies working there are nice. Obviously they have bad days just like anyone else. Keep that in mind if you are feeling slighted by the service.
No one ever answers the phone. I have been calling for days about a lost package. When I did get someone to answer, Lisa was super rude. She said I have no clue where your package is. Didn't even offer to look up the tracking number i gave her. What is wrong with Benton and Bryant post officed. Always so rude when I have to go into the lobby, bc NO ONE will answer the phone.
I do online selling so I am constantly shipping items out. If I could trust my packages to be picked up and not stolen I would do usps pick up. Thanks for your understanding.
My house is numbered 3 different ways, one of them literally on my front door but for some reason the mailman keeps leaving other peoples packages when they clearly are a different number. Then I have to do their job of delivering their mail to the correct address.
Horrible customer service. The lady that answered the phone didn’t want to answer any of my questions. Very unprofessional.
