UPDATE: there was a LINE of people almost out the door, and less than half of them were wearing masks. Not everyone in LR cares, but thought I’d make that known just in case someone does..nnThe Brady post office has poor leadership and poor communication. They thought I was not at my residence for two weeks when I let my mail overflow. I came up in person right after the mail had been sent back, to let them know I was indeed there, and they said it had been overflowed for weeks. That was not true, I had been checking the mail religiously since it had overflowed.nnI understand why middle aged adults hate dealing with mail services now. Jesus.
This post office is located between the Kroger and Shipley’s donuts, easy to quickly miss. Easy access to drop boxes, automated machine and PO Boxes always accessible. I am in this post office usually 3 days out of the week to ship items. The staff has always treated me respectfully and tried to solve any problems I have. I don’t mind the wait when it’s busy, but with only one to two people trying to help others hustle and answer questions this is to be expected.nnThe negative reviews I believe are out of frustration or perhaps figuring out the shipping system (that use to be me!). When you walk up, packages or mail ready to go they move you right through. They are happy to check a weight and recommend a package to fit your needs and explain any misunderstandings. Reciprocated kindness goes a long way to a pleasant transaction.nnAlso, I buy their tape. It’s the strongest/thickest shipping tape and worth it in my opinion. My customers have yet to experience a package that has that tape messed up!
This is the only post office I have been going to since the 5 years I have lived here. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. However, I encountered the counter helper by the name of Scottie today...and he was very rude and disrespectful. He acted like he didnt want to help me and pulled tape out of my hand forcefully which cut me! I would not recommend Scottie!
