Rented a car because mine was in the shop. Did not need the rental as long as I reserved it for. Returned it a couple of days early. The office was closed on Saturday when I returned it and they charged me until Monday. No one told me that the office would be closed and told me Monday morning that I should have returned it to an open office that would be way out of my way. When a higher up called me after I sent them an email, he told me to call him at the office to discuss this. He also said he would only be there until 11am. I actually work for a living unlike the people in the Portage office. By the time I got a chance to call it was after 11am. Enterprise is only worried about their bottom line and not for their customers. That's why I will not be using them ever again. I was a loyal customer who travels a lot for work and used them often but not now.

I had the worst experience ever at Enterprise in Portage and I rent from them often. I understand Covid policies, but they were just downright rude and dismissive. I dropped a car off this morning that I had for six days. I walked up and discovered the door was locked, I asked if they were open and the guy sticks his hand out for the keys. Then he says I'll get you checked out, he then closes and locks the door. He comes back to check the car out while I'm still outside. I ask for a ride, I'm only two miles away and he says we don't do that due to Covid and walks back inside with a very rude lady and locks the door. I'm waiting outside for awhile before I finally got an Uber nearly 45 minutes later. I asked the lady to call me an Uber as I was having trouble with the app on my phone, and this lady hands me the card of a company in Hammond over 20 miles away who said it would be 90 minutes at the least for a pick up in Portage. I don't understand why she couldn't request the Uber for me, I didn’t expect her to pay for it?nnThey are rude, arrogant and dismissive. I rent often and will take my business elsewhere. I don't need poor customer service under the guise of Covid. They were a terrible start to my day, no one deserves to be treated so poorly. It appeared that my business didn't matter to them, and not once while I stood outside in the chill of the morning was I offered something to drink or help with getting a ride home. The cars aren’t cleaned thoroughly or even at all, but you’re concerned about a customer getting too close to the door. Splashing water on the outside with no soap and ignoring the inside isn’t cleaning a vehicle. I commented on this several times to management over the years. The Uber driver even shared that he had a bad experience at this branch last year and to just go to Valpo instead and save yourself a headache. I completely understand what he said and I will just go to another company instead of a different location.nnI can literally show thousands of dollars in receipts from rentals with a company that treated a loyal customer this way. I will put a million miles on my own car before I step foot in their establishment again.nI WILL NEVER PATRONIZE YOUR BUSINESS AGAIN!!! YOU DONT CARE ABOUT LOYAL CUSTOMERS!

A place my order for the vehicle online the day before how to pick up the vehicle. When I get there at 10 the manager gave me the run-around and if she didn't have any cars nothing at oranges and my appointment was for 12 which was okay I was 2 hours early.nPut in for a SUV the manager was trying to give me a Ford Ranger which what's not my online order. The manager asks us to come back at 12 which we did but when I came back they still had no vehicle and when when came available it was like 12:30 or 1. Upon striking with the vehicle I was informed by the manager that I wouldn't be able to rent this vehicle with my debit / credit card because it wasn't a major credit card. I informed the manager that I have rented cars from Enterprise at that location many times so why now there is a problem. She told me because I had a out-of-state license from Illinois I wasn't allowed to rent cars with my debit / credit card and I told her I have always had an out-of-state license when I rented cars in the past from this Enterprise. She didn't give me any explanation a why I couldn't let the car other day in my life is was from Illinois

We had a rental on hold for months. My daughter called to inquire about a smaller rental to check the costs. It would not suffice so we made no changes to the reservation. Upon pick up of the vehicle (astro truck) we were advised that the reservation Was changed when we called to inquire and that the astro was no longer available and we were forced to take a small vehicle that would not hold our dog and luggage on our road trip. Their customer service is horrible. If you’re looking for a seamless experience, this is not the place to go. Very disappointed.

What’s good service fast call me when the car was available and gave me my deposit refund back fast.
