The vehicle I was given (Chrysler Pacifica) was very nice; new and modern and clean. Rented via Costco Travel; picked up in Portland, dropped of in SF. The service at both Budget counters was friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend!

Our car broke down in the middle of the highway and we barely got it into the median and it lost all power there was no power to it at all and we sat on hold trying to get a hold of budget the first time for an hour and then my phone got so hot that it just shut off on me then the next time I called we sat on hold for another 30 minutes and still couldn’t get any help and then I finally used my AAA roadside assistance and got a tow truck that Told us into a budget that was closed and left us sitting here and then we finally got a hold of he got a hold of budget for us and they said they were sending another tow truck out but after an hour they sent us a text message saying it would be another two hours before they got the tow truck to us this whole thing is just been a nightmare we’re sitting here in thenmiddle of downtown Nowhere to eat nowhere to go to the bathroom we are totally exhausted! This day has been a total nightmare
Horrible customer service. I was lied to when making the reservation. I was told that they would pick me up and give me a ride back. Had to take a Taxi for both. I asked for a car not an SUV when making the reservation I was assured a car would be there. When I arrived no cars only SUV'S!!! So that is what I took. When I returned the car their were no spots in the garage to park it so I parked out front as my Taxi was there waiting. They told me they would not check me in til I parked it in the garage so I found a spot on the 5th level. Terrible customer service. I hve filed a complaint. Will see
