Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Last minute rental to head to Florida to be with my father who became ill and eventually passed away. I have never rented a car before this. Family member recommended Enterprise. The process to get a car on such last minute notice was amazing. It was quick and simple...had the rental picked up in less than a hour. The car was in great condition. Very clean, had a new car smell. Price was great too for a week. Ended up having to extend the stay for an extra week. The process to extend the time frame was great. Called to extend it and was handled right away. Didnt need to provide card info for payment either which was nice. The car did amazing on gas as well. Spent half the amount of money I thought I would end up spending. Great experience for a first time rental and definitely will do again. Was one less stress I had to worry about. Thanks for such a great experience in such a difficult time!

If it was possible to give lower than 1 star I would. This branch doesn’t answer the phone, they don’t inform people of arbitrary policy changes, they willingly give you broken or malfunctioning cars that are dirty and nearly out of fuel. I rent cars from Enterprise about 6 months out of the year bi-weekly and there has never, not one single time, been a smooth transaction. Samir is an inept manager and Shandy does not understand how corporate insurance works apparently as she consistently harasses me about my personal insurance information. Today I spent an hours worth of phone calls on hold just to drive up to the office (while still on hold) and have Shandy walk out ready to assist me. Mind you I’m still trying to phone the branch. No one here deserves a job.

They take great care of me whenever I need a car, it is always clean and well maintained! Highly recommend them if you ever need a rental car

I rented a suv for my vacation 3 adults went vehicle had plenty of room for everyone. We had a Rogue. Lots of space in back. The gas mileage was fantastic.i defiantly will rent again in Aug or Sept for my next vacation. Thank you so much

My husband needs a rental car for work about every other week. Considering this is the only place in La Porte, this is the location he goes to. He consistently gets placed with unwashed/ unclean vehicles, large trucks and vans because the cars are unavailable, no gas in the cars, long waits, getting cars that he requests not to get, blown out tires after he brought the issues to their attention before leaving, a car with a bad transmission, and no one being there on times when they are open. There is also a rude woman that consistently tells him that our insurance will be liable when it’s going on a company card for work related ventures. It’s always something with this place. Awful service, just a headache. We’ll be driving to Michigan City from now on just to save ourselves that hassle.
