Avis Car Rental

My last rental experience with Davis was not very positive. The company has understaffed this outlet. It took me over an hour to get my car that I rented and it turned out to be something that I didn't want. I was in line from at 9 o'clock in the morning on Saturday August 29th I stood in line for 35 minutes waiting for them to be able to move cars the problem was the cars were filthy from the previous rental and they had one lady go out and clean each car and it took her half an hour or more. I get up finely in pay for my car rental get get the little registration packet and I have to wait for another 45 minutes for my car to come through. These poor ladies were so busy I cannot be an upset with them I am upset with your company for not making sure you have enough staff on hand apparently people Want to travel on the holidays because are stuck at home due to the Pandemic. And the vehicle that you chose does put out for rent the Ford Eco sport is one of the worst cars of ever driven.

The car had not been cleaned. There was dirt and dust everywhere. There were mud stains on the seats. This would be unacceptable if there wasn't a pandemic going on. With the current state of things I was DISMAYED at the lack of cleanliness. Also, what is Avis' policy about employees wearing mask and practicing social distance? All these issues need to be addressed. I am very disappointed.

I LOVED my first rental car experience. Thank you Avis!! My Nissan Sentra was so cute and zippy and clean. I still miss it. And I forgot to fill up the tank on my way to the airport. I went back to ask if I could go fill it up and they told me they actually comped me of any fuel charge!!! I was amazed. I am going to rent with Avis every time I can now. And I’ll recommend Avis to everyone I know. It was so great. Oh AND it was only $50.03 for two days with a different drop off location! This is going to be hard to beat.

I rent 2 cars and when I return the cars they said that I didn't return one car and they still charged my credit card.nWhen i call they said that the car is there but there's no key of one of the cars and I keep receiving calls from avis saying that they don't have the car.nDONT RENT CAR HERE!!!!!

Waited 30 minutes at the Salem Airport location, no ones at the counter to help or assist with anything. Very poor customer service. Maybe they dont need any business since hertz is filing bankruptcy
