Enterprise Rent-A-Car

I would like to thank John the manager at enterprise on Lawrence drive in fortwayne Indiana for being such a great Person. They have the best costumer service and great prices for rentals. I recommend this place they help you with all your needs and they treat you like family. They help you in everyone they can. There cars are really clean and sanitized thanks enterpise the best company I have rent from.

I didn't think I asked for much, a low cost American made car and be picked up at a certain time! I was told it wouldn't be a problem and someone would call me to set the final details. no call came, when I called Monday morning asking about my ride I got the runaround between two offices. they were an hour late and brought a foreign car. I'm the son of two UAW workers. I won't be seen driving that! they happily switch me to a higher cost vehicle. at full rates, more then twice the quote! to make matters worse it was given to me empty, very empty and I was late for my VA appointment.

Had a very good experience. I rented it online, paid with a debit card! The only thing that wasn't told online was that there is a $200.00 deposit fee that is help until you return the vehicle. I was expecting to pay the amount that was quoted, but there was the fee that wasn't explained online. But, on a good note, the deposit was returned within 4 hours of returning the vehicle.

We reserved online for the Huntington, In branch but got a call a couple of weeks prior to our vacation date that moved our reservation to the Lawrence Drive branch in Ft Wayne because CV-19 reduced their hours.. We rented a 2020 Hyundai Kona. Check-in was quick, check out was even quicker. The price was affordable. Employees were very nice and knowledgeable. We would recommend to friends and family.

The car I rented only had 15,000 miles on it. For reasons unknown to man and without warning, the battery totally shut down one Saturday afternoon. Couldn't start the car at all, couldn't even open the trunk to get things out of it. Called enterprise, was on hold for hours, never got a hold of anyone. Had to cancel plans and pay for an UBER. Called again first thing on Sunday, had to have someone come jump the battery, drove it to another location, and replaced it (replacement vehicle was an upgrade, which was nice, but the change oil light came on immediately). Called again Monday morning to ask for the refund for the day I was unable to use the vehicle, which was accepted. However, I was told that I have to pay for the roadside assistance, which is more expensive than the day's rate I was refunded. So basically, I'm paying enterprise extra for the car they gave me to break down. Yes, Enterprise offers a roadside assistance plan at an upcharge. But come on. A good, fair business would include that. No one should be renting a low-mileage car for a short period of time have to pay extra for protection in case regular maintenance hasn't been done on the car. Their car broke down. I was inconvenienced. I had to pay for additional transportation. And now, I have to pay them extra too. Not right. Correct your business model. And no, I didn't leave the lights on.nn*EDIT*nnI called back the following day, spoke with the manager John. Explained the situation, and he was very reasonable. He removed the roadside service charges and got me a different vehicle. Changed my review from 1 star to 3. Still an inconvenience, but at least it's handled properly.
