“New Management, New atmosphere “. Smells great in the lobby and nice and clean now! They always take care of me! Highly recommended in Indianapolis. I travel a lot and have certain requirements , and they are always met!
This was without a doubt the most helpful service I have ever received at an AVIS rental agency! Debra at the desk was so incredibly polite and assisted me in not only making sure that I was in the best vehicle possible for my newborn, but then she also helped me extend the rental with such ease and convenience. I visit Indianapolis from NYC and let me tell you I will never again try and work with the airport counter or sit on the phone for an hour with the 1.800 number with zero resolution! I will from now on go straight to the N. Keystone Ave location and get the best service there is! THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!
Absolutely the worst car rental place ever!! If you want to be disappointed and drastically change your plans. This is your place. My husband and I arrived here at 8 am to pick up our 12 passenger van for a family trip. And to our surprise they did not have it. Not only did they not have our vehicle, there was another family there with the same issue. Then they had the nerve to say we needed to cancel the reservation or it would have been taken from our credit card. The manager, Debra was completely pointless. She only offered an apology after I told her what horrible customer service they had and I would write a bad review. They told me there were not any large SUV's or vans available in the state of Indiana. I requested to speak to corporate. I had to speak to 4 different people before I finally got help. Somehow, after I pitched a fit. They were able to find us a Large SUV at the airport. We wasted a lot of time, energy, and money. If I were you, I would try another company that is competent and offer customer service. And one that would give you what you reserved.
I made a reservation for a rental and rode my bike a long way there only to discover that they were closed during my scheduled pickup time. Such a huge waste of my time and energy.
STAY AWAY!!! Bob (the extremely rude man referenced in the review 6 months ago) is the BRANCH MANAGER of this location. He is the worst rental car rep I have ever dealt with. No interpersonal skills. No customer service skills. Picked up a car that was 1 tier lower than what I had reserved and it was covered in bugs and the interior was not cleaned. At one point, he told me if I didn’t like my option (my one and only option) that I should go across the street to Enterprise. This man is a poor representation of Avis and should be terminated. The office is littered in garbage and has not been cleaned in months. He has an adversarial attitude towards everyone that walks through the door (treated 3 other customers the exact same way) and is a bitter, resentful person who CLEARLY hates his job. Replace this man with someone who represents the values you claim, Avis/Budget. I will never rent from this location again and I encourage everyone reading this review to do what Bob told me to do - Go across the street to Enterprise!
