Payless Car Rental

Nice vehicle upgrade! Very good customer service. Affordable..I'd recommend.

It took an hour standing in line to get a car that was booked and paid 3 days earlier. The Payless cashier/attendant was extremely slow and appeared to be inexperienced.at computers.. While I was in line, nine other people were served and had departed courtesy of a different attendant. at the same counter.. I FINALLY got a car after another hour waiting. I was in the process of getting to Shelbyville, Indiana where my deceased wife's FUNERAL was in process.

Hit a deer and well y'all know how that goes. Between the travel guard insurance agent and myself, we have spent almost 4 hours waiting for Payless 24 Roadside Assistance to get me towed. We have waited for any kind of compassion or humane interaction. Even the Westfield PD felt sorry for me and have been checking on me every hour. Thankfully I'm still stuck on the side of the road left for dead! Thanks Payless, way to show a first responder and arm forces member your support!

I had reserved a 7 passenger Suburban, and they had ZERO suburban's available. I was told that 10 suburban's were rented that day, and they had ZERO!!!, Unacceptable. We were not told until the last minute, and pretty much ruined our fall break trip with our kids.

I reserved a vehicle weeks prior to picking up my rental. I was very disappointed to find that the vehicle size I reserved was not available. After inquiring about why the vehicle wasn't reserved, the manger indicated that the Brickyard Race folks took precedent over my reservation. Bad business. The manger lower the rental rate, but I couldn't help but to feel that I wasn't a valued customer. I was terribly insulted.
