Because the car battery died on one of the days

We arrived at the Philly airport location around 1 am. The attendant was amazing. I forgot his name. He is an African American gentlemen with dreadlocks and a baby daughter. (We chatted briefly since we were his last customer.) He was personable, warm and helpful, even though we declined his upsell. In addition, the manager. I think his name was Ramon actually saw we were a family of five getting into a mid size SUV. He offered to upgrade us at no charge so we could be ore comfy! They were both outstanding and very helpful. I'm glad I chose Budget.

Everything was quick easy and very clean. The truck was great and drove beautifully. The customer service was excellent and the price reasonable. My only recommendation is making sure the rental is non-smoking! Thank you!

I’ve rented twice through Budget but I never will again. I usually fly Frontier and it’s the rental company they partner with for the best deal, but obviously you get what you pay for. For my trip in June, only one woman was behind the counter doing her best to service a line of 10+ people trying to rent cars. I felt awful for her, she was obviously super stressed. It took an hour to pick up my car, and when I received it it reeked like cigarettes and had a huge burn hole in the drivers seat that scratched my leg while driving. I reached out to customer service and got an automated response that was essentially meaningless.nnI rented just this past week once again through Budget, I will say the agent I spoke with on the phone when I had to modify my reservation was wonderful. However when my flight landed I waited outside for 45 minutes for a shuttle to arrive. They are advertised to run every 15-30 minutes, and this was in the middle of the afternoon during a holiday week. Customer service couldn’t help me and said they had no way to contact the location directly and find out if there was some issue. During that time Enterprise drive by five times, Hertz five times, Avis, Dollar, every company but Budget. Finally a shuttle drove by and clearly was not going to stop. I had to chase it down waving my arms. The shuttle smelled awful and the driver didn’t speak the whole time. When I arrived to pick up my car, the process was much quicker than it was in June, but the space I was assigned had the wrong car in it and the woman began freaking out and yelling into her radio. My paperwork was reprinted and I was told to pick up in a different space. I got the car (which was a very clean and smelled new) and when I exited the woman working the booth told me the paperwork didn’t match my car and insinuated I took the wrong car. I let her know I took the exact space that was assigned to me, I really couldn’t help the rest and I had no intention of getting out of the car after so much hassle. She was clearly annoyed and had to have everything reprinted for me. Overall, a really shoddily run operation. I will stick with enterprise or hertz in the future.

We had not such a great experience the first time we returned a car . The line was long and the girl behind the counter was rude and seemed like waiting on people was a chore. But we decided to rent again from budget because the rest of the experience was easy and went well. This time it all went smoothly they checked us back in in the parking lot and the girl couldn’t have been nicer. Budget is easy to rent from website is easy to navigate and return was easy as well this time! Will definitely use Budget again.
