Harbor Outfitters

Last season I bought a Kayak from Harbor Outfitters, and this season I bought a stand up paddleboard. Both experiences were incredibly positive. The salespeople were knowledgeable and helpful, and were not pushy in the least. And to top it off, they delivered the items to my home at no charge. I highly recommend Harbor Outfitters for your island sport needs!

Great experience! My kids (15 and 19) did a surfing lesson with Harbor Outfitters and were up and surfing in no time. Sean was a great instructor and was friendly and courteous. He met us at our beach and was on time. We held onto the boards after the lesson and surfed on. Reasonable rates on rentals....the best in town!

Absolutely the best customer service!nFrom the moment I walked in the shop, they were happy and helpful. I signed up for a surfing lesson with my 11yr old, which they were able to do the next day. Met us on the beach, right on time (unlike the other place which left a large group stranded) with a few boards for us to try out. Pat was awesome and got us both up and catching waves within the hour.nWe even convinced 3 more people in our family to try.nSame great experience for them, in the shop and with Pat.nHighly recommended!!

We took a kayak trip this week on the sound side to the south of Stone Harbor. The trip launched from the docks at Dad's Rentals down toward the Wildwood end of the island.nOur group took 3 big kayaks - A dad and his 6 year old son, me and my 5 year old daughter and our wives and a 4 year old. Our guide, Jason, was patient and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone was comfortable, set the appropriate pace and made a point of showing the kids some fun wildlife.nWe stopped out on a sandbar and hunted for shells, found a horseshoe crab and enjoyed the views.nA really nice morning trip.
