On Thanksgiving Eve, returned vehicle and within the hour called Toby the branch Manager in regards to the stroller we left in the trunk. He answered and agreed to hold it for us. Then proceeded to rent out the car WITH the stroller in the trunk. When my husband went for it the day after thanksgiving, he pretended not to know what we were talking about and told us the vehicle was rented. He told me he would call back before closing time and didn't answer my 10 phone calls and his voicemail is full. When he finally called back I asked if they clean the cars between drivers I was told by the branch manager that they don't always do it if they're busy. So just know if someone has illegal substances or all around bad things in the trunk this location does not remove or clean it. I am beyond livid for being told one thing and then them doing another. It's really unprofessional. Let's be clear, I am not faulting them for us leaving it. Just that they promised to hold it and now the renter is claiming there's no stroller. It took 20 minutes on the phone for the manager to even admit some fault and agree to go check the trunk on Monday.

Stay away from this location. Incredibly rude staff. They tell you can come pick up your car with no problem early (a hour and a half) - then want an extra $25 for that early pick up or can sit and wait it out in front of them. Was then given a car that needs maintenance, was banged up, and very dirty. Not the Hertz experience I'm used to.

They put me in a rental that was over my insurance coverage and did not do their due diligence to see what rental would of covered me completely including taxes and fees. My taxes and fees came up to more than the deposit I’m so upset I had to still come out of pocket .... cars car nice and staff are alittle on the miserable/tired side.

I had a great experience at Hertz. The representatives was very customer friendly and kind.

Vehicle smelled like urine. Staff decided to deal with the issue by denying the stench. I resorted to show them that the seat wet my pants and they behaved as if I wet it myself. Finally changed the vehicle: First of all my money should have gotten me a good car instead they behaved like they were doing me a favor. The next vehicle wreaked of cigarettes. (SHDH) They are a nightmare at Castor & Aramingo. You can patronage a number of other vehicle rentals in the Philadelphia area that would actually respect your purchasing power; not to mention, respect you as a person. I would never recommend them on Castor & Aramingo Ave.
