Very happy I rented a car here. It was extremely easy to reserve online. The gentleman was waiting for me when I approached. There was no line when I came. He was courteous and organized, had my info ready and waiting. He upgraded me to a waaaaaay better car than I requested, which made me ecstatic. Car was beautiful and clean on the inside. The upgrade my short trip so much better and really made my day, thank you.nnReturning was a bit of a hassle, there was no one at the station. I wanted to drop the keys in the box, but there were no envelopes or pens to write out my slip. I suggest putting one of the pens on a chain out there. I was nervous about leaving this brand new car without it being checked out by anyone, so I took pictures of it on all sides and the fuel level. I borrowed a pen from a stranger and threw the keys and slip in the box; a half hour later, I received a return confirmation email for the agreed rental price, so I was relieved it was all completed before my flight took off.
They were nice and went above and beyond to help me.
I thought I was getting a reasonable rate when renting a car on my recent vacation to California. I prepaid for the rental only to find out upon arrival that taxes and airport fees were not included and cost almost as much as the car rental! Those fees should be included upfront! It is not like they weren't sure what the taxes and fees would be before my arrival since I had to indicate where and when I would be picking up the car.nnSo I thought this was for the Dollar Rental at LAX not in Wichita. I am unsure of the Wichita location. I have never rented there.
I'm giving the chain three stars and not this particular office. Nowhere does it say you can't use a prepaid credit card to rent a car. So now I'm two hours late leaving because I had to go to my bank and get a debit card. I never wanted a checking account but now I'm forced to at the last minute. Had I known I needed this I would have gotten it long before I picked up the car.nnNow, this store gets 5 stars because the lady was very nice.
Fast checkout. There was still trash in the back of the car but others wise nice. We'll see what return is like tomorrow,
