Need a rental car and considering using this hertz location? I would say don't bother, but they wouldn't even pick up the phone after several times to even give themselves a chance for your business. The only reason I have had to go through this place is due to insurance, otherwise, I would go somewhere else.nnI would like to add an update to this, this morning I have a random $13 charge on my credit card, followed by two separate $26 charges with no phone call for when my account was closed out or what these random charges are for. The car was returned in perfect order with a full tank of gas.

This was the worst rental car/experience I've ever had. While telling me the rules the clerk states the gas is full bring it back that way or you will be charged. Oh the tank isn't full let me change that now. I reserved a standard size car because of the mpg, I received a full size. I get home and go to put paperwork in glovebox and it dropped to the floor. I looked around because I thought I was be being punked this can't be real. I read the paperwork to see if it mention it's broke. I see she didn't change the gas to 3/4 and there's no mention of the do not use glovebox. Three(3) driving hours later I reach my town, stop at the stop sign, push on the gas and it putters. I give it more gas, it keeps puttering, so I start rocking forward, hand out to the side saying come on girl. It sped up drove great, stopped at a few lights, great take off, then it does it again. Will be renting from another company this weekend

The customer service at the JFK branch was absolutely horrible. We were supposed to pick up our booked car at 4PM, but ended up picking it up at 6:15PM because the two ladies at the front desk didn't know and refused to believe that you have to use the chip and insert a pin code for a smart credit card to go through. They were very, very rude to us and asked us to exit the branch without giving us our booked car several times. I should have called the management and reported these two ignorant, incompetent customer service representatives.

Horrible horrible horrible. Worst of all of the rental cars company. I rented a car and no one told me anything about the gas. And when I took it back these scams changed me over a hundred dollars for gas. Which is it will take less than $40 to fill it up. Don't deal with them. Scams scams scams.

My insurance reserved a vehicle for me here. Called them yesterday 3 times, never answered. Called them this morning, no answer. So I came in person to see if maybe I was calling the wrong number. Came and no one was here, security guard told me to wait a few minutes. Waited 40 mins and no one ever came. WORSE RENTAL PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO.
