Avis Car Rental

The car I rented was filthy inside and out. I have pictures. And it smelled. The person working the counter was alone and was expected to somehow clean the vehicles while making reservations and helping customers. APPALLING. I have never had a dirtier car from AVIS and I used to travel for a living and had status. Absolutely no excuse for this during COVID. It took me over an hour to clean the car so I would feel comfortable taking my family in it. I had 4 vent car fresheners and the smell never did go away. If I hadn't picked it up late for an early morning departure, I would have NEVER accepted it. It also was out of wiper fluidn(I had to go in and get some and put it in myself) and the oil needed changing- and we went on a 19 hour round trip vacation. Ridiculous- I have never had a worse AVIS experience.

You took $16 for fuel even though I filled it up. You charged me for fuel when the tank was completely full. Had I not noticed and called you would have kept the money. I find Avis, in this, to be unethical. You should check the fuel level upon return and charge for it if needed. This is the industry standard. I have rented cars many times, even recently, and what Avis is doing is not common. I will not use Avis ever again and I have already told others about this situation, warning them not to use Avis.

Dekota helped us with our rental and hooked us up with a Jeep Wrangler for our Colorado trip! We were so impressed with him at how nice he was and professional and will go out of his way to make you happy! Ask for Dekota!
