Was packed at opening. The one employee they had there was fabulous! Courteous and eager to help. HOWEVER, I reserved an economy car, and all they had were SUV's. So I spent over twice as much for gas as I would have with an economy car, cutting my trip short. Not cool.

Place is a joke. If I could give it zero stars I would. My family and I had reservation for a 10ft truck a month out from pickup date. We get there, only to have them tell us they have no trucks for us. No phone call, no nothing. I get that stuff happens, but good lord that's a huge mistake. I was supposed to be on road driving back to Portland Oregon with the truck and its contents. Instead we were left to find another rental at the last minute. We called Uhual right up the road from them and they found us one for cheaper, and it was ready. Do not bother wasting your time with this place.

We prepaid for a Tahoe.. arrived and apparently they do not rent Tahoe’s in any of the KC Metro. So we settled with a minivan ( which is cheaper than a Tahoe) but since we prepaid they are unable to refund us for purchasing a more expensive car. They then told us to call the customer service number.. which takes you to a call center.. not the KC Metro Budget. Turns out since the Overland Park location off Shawnee Mission Parkway is privately owned there is nothing they can do. Very unfortunate and unhappy with how this turned out & how there was no extra effort put forth to make the situation right.

I've really enjoyed my experience with Budget. I've used this location several times now within the last year. Their price is the best, service is great and I really like the Mitsubishi Outlander that I always seem to get.

Very Affordable. However on the second day the vehicle had only 18,000 miles on it and the transmission was having problems shifting and racing up to 4 and 5 rpm. Manufactures malfunction not theirs. They addressed it when we brought it back to them.
