Hertz Car Rental

My car is currently in the shop and I have a courtesy car that I cannot drive more than 80 miles a day. I needed to go to Kansas City for work to drop off computer equipment, so I had to rent a car. We drove to the old Hertz location, and there was a chalk marker sign on the door that said it was closed and to go to their new location and to follow the orange signs. No other information, no phone number, just vagueness. There were no orange signs. We had difficulty finding the new place and called customer service. They were rude and couldn't give us the new address and gave us a phone number that didn't work. This is after we had to go through 30 prompts to talk to a human. Then we had to pay for parking at the Park omaha lot, take a shuttle and go the Hertz location. The gentleman was incredibly rude there as well and also did not explain any fees, or rules. Then we had to find our car. By the way, all of this time we were carrying very large computer equipment. When we came back there were no directions with what to do when you drop off your car. A woman came out who was not very nice and seemed confused. Thankfully there was a gentleman who checked us out who was incredibly kind, thoughtfully and nice. This was clearly new for us, it was freezing out, and we were mouthing but courteous and mine and were consult meet with rudeness and lack of direction.

The staff is friendly and was efficient checking me in, but the location is probably the worst hertz I've ever seen. All outdoors and for all practical purposes, uncovered. The office is a mobile-home and you spend a lot of time walking in the snow and waiting for the shuttle.nIt looks like they're building a new rental center, but it won't be open until 2019, so expect another winter at this facility.

The guys who work in this office are crooks. Even though it was clearly stated on my agreement that I would be returning the car on a Saturday, they didn't tell me that because they were closed I would actually be charged for the car until Monday. They explained to me about the drop box and everything but never had the courtesy to say, you know if you return it when we are closed you are charged until we are open. Watch out for these guys, they are shady.
