Budget Car and Truck Rental

Made reservations for a van. Paid online. Got to counter and they didnt have the vehicle to rent us nor anything else to offer. Now i have to wait for my money back. I wouldnt recommend using budget for your rental. Lady at the counter said this is happens all the time. No vehicles to rent but they don't prevent someone from making a reservation.nLucky for us Thrifty had what we needed and was cheaper as well.

Decided to drive my own car

I rented a car from Budget for 7 days from the Omaha airport in March. After I left the airport, I realized the car had a very strong cigarette smell. I thought maybe I could air the car out and the smell would go away. When I got back in the car 3 hours later, the smell remained. I called Budget and talked to a young man named Chris that was rude, and also threatened me by saying that if I had not called they would have charged me 250 for the smell. He was of no help until the end when I told him I wanted a manger. He then started to be helpful and nice and told me he would have someone named Tracy Reisis call me. Tracy Reisis called me back and was very helpful and told me to contact the manager, named Megan Dye, in the morning. Unfortunately they didn’t have any cars available for me to switch out with. I called Megan Dye the next morning and she told me she would send an email to her boss and discount the car. She told me she would call me back. I didn’t get a call back from Megan Dye. I kept the car but only drove the car one day because the smell was so strong and I had my small children with me. The car stayed parked for 6 of the 7 days. When I returned home I contacted Megan Dye and she told me again she would discount the car and call me back. Again, no call from Megan and it’s been 10 days with no discount on the car refunded to me.

The lady at this office she don’t deserve it to be there she is resist her name is Megan she charge me 170 less than an a hour for nothing I just rent a van but my family didn’t like it, from their office to home is for that money I call 1800—- and they told me it’s a private budget company I should have know that earlier?????
