Budget Car Rental

she is resist her name is Megan she charge me 170 less than an a hour for nothing I just rent a van but my family didn’t like it, from their office to home is for that money I call 1800—- and they told me it’s a private budget company I should have know that earlier?????

When we arrived to pick up our vehicle, we had great service. They were very friendly and attentive. It all went downhill from there. The car we were loaned had some issues. I understand that it's not their fault the car had issues, but I was extremely frustrated with the way the handled things. At first, we were told to try to fix the issue on our own. I honestly couldn't believe they told us that. Then they called back and told us we could drive to a different location and exchange our car. My husband spent the whole morning exchanging the car. When he returned, he had a vehicle way smaller than what we originally had. We couldn't even fit all of our luggage in the back. We were both frustrated because we flew home to spend the weekend with family, but were stuck dealing with car issues instead. When we returned the car, I asked about getting any type of discount for all the issues. I was told to call a number. I've called the number. Multiple times. The time someone answered and wrote down my number so a manager could call me back. Did the manager call me? Nope. I tried calling many times after that, but no one seems to answer the phone. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication. When I fly home next time, I will be going with a different company.

The customer service skills at this particular location is trash. They never answer the phone and sometimes they will pick up and hang up instead of asking you to hold. I returned a car on Sunday July 8th. I left my very expensive Kate Spade umbrella in the trunk of the car(red Toyota corolla), I immediately called on Monday morning at 8am when I knew the location I returned to opened for the day. The phone just rung rung rung and then someone picked up and hung up on me. I tried calling for the rest of the day and the phone was busy. A worker called me towards the end of the day from her personal cell phone and said that the phone lines had been down all day and she would check and call me back. She never called back. I have had to continuously call and I'm not getting anywhere. I keep getting told that the contract states that Budget is not responsible for lost or stolen items and that the car is out on rental. If the car is thoroughly cleaned like I keep getting told then someone who works there saw my umbrella b/c it is big and hard to miss. Which means that someone took my umbrella. I have spoken to a Rochelle and just recently today Sandy(who was getting loud with me.). I advised her that I want to see the cameras of the car being cleaned and she stated that she will not watch the cameras with me. I will no longer do business with Budget rental car if I cannot get any answers. Someone who works there saw or have my umbrella.

Terrible service! We did not get the vehicle reserved and what we got instead cost double the gas to travel to the same place we traveled last year. I WOULD NOT recommend renting a car from this company in general.........I say this because this is not the first time I have experienced not even substandard service with this company.
