Enterprise Rent-A-Car

The car we rented was clean and sanitized. We got 41 miles per gallon according to the instrument panel readout in the Nissan Altima. The car was quiet and comfortable to drive. I was in the car for about 20 hours of driving and never experienced any back or neck issues. The rental experience at the desk was quick and efficient. I have been using Enterprise at this location for many years and am very glad that they choose to have an outlet in our city.

I emailed requesting a vehicle to rent the same day. I received a pleasant call from an Enterprise representative confirming my reservation. When I arrived at the location I was upgraded to a larger, nicer vehicle by the representative without asking. She was very enthusiastic and helpful. The only negative was the vehicle smelled of smoke. I had to go to Walmart to buy an air freshener in order to tolerate being in the vehicle.

Worst experience ever at the Muscatine location!! My car smelled SO bad like a smoker and I addressed the issue with the agent and she told me “don’t worry, we won’t charge you for that.” I told her that that should be obvious, but I’d like a different car or some sort of refund. All my clothes smell like smoke now and I was heading to an important work meeting.nnNot only that, but they opened late and the car only had 3/4 tank of gas. I brought this issue up also, and she told me that it’s no big deal, I wouldn’t be charged for that either. But I had to drive 3 hours to the meeting and had to stop to fill up on gas. It made me late to the meeting because they were (1) late to opening the store and (2) didn’t give me a car with a full tank of gas.nnThis was the WORST experience I’ve ever had with Enterprise, and I’m a loyal renter. I typically rent a car 2-3 full weeks each month for work. I will be taking my business elsewhere after this experience.

My wife and I rented a vehicle for over the Fourth. When I arrived the vehicle was ready as expected. It was a 2020 Premium SUV. The vehicle worked perfectly and proved to be very comfortable on our trip. I'm satisfied with the overall experience, much better than a previous experience. My only suggestion to Enterprise would be to clean the windows. the glass on our vehicle was dirty inside and out. As a courtesy to your customers renting a vehicle. I rented from the office in Muscatine Ia. It was a very good experience and the transaction to rent was quick so I could be on my way! The young lady was very pleasant and helpful.
