Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Disappointed this time renting. First the car smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Had to ride with the windows down (it was hot, would have like to use the air, instead being blown away). I picked my grandson up for our 3 hour drive to his home in MO. He also smelled it. Had to buy air fresheners. On the 3rd day there, I was while I was shopping, the low tire pressure came on. The next day I called the Pella office, usually Reece is nice, but was rude this time. Wanted to know if the local Good Year was approved for Enterprise. He said yes, but I could take it any Enterprise & exchange or another car. They are closed at noon on Saturday's, except for the KC airport. I was not going to try that one with a low tire. Goodyear replaced the tire. Said I was lucky I didn't have a blow out. Told me all the tires were bad, but this particular one had wires sticking out of it. I was scared to drive anywhere for the next 3 days of my stay, as the other tires were not in good shape. The mechanic said they probably would be safe for up to 1,000 miles. My trip home is over 300, add to that my trip to return it. So I wasn't going to chance. I told the girl & she was very nice about it. She said she could adjust my bill. She did by 30%. I accepted that, but in hind sight, I should have asked for more of a discount. Since I didn't feel safe driving it. Really disappointed in the experience.

The car was ready when I arrived, efficient run down of car features/operation before I left. Returned the car a day early, billing was updated correctly. No issues at all.

Always have a good experience with the employees. Great to work with. Easy to reserve cars.
