Hertz

Had a car going into the shop and the manager called us week before to set up a delivery. When the car didn’t show up on time, called and spoke with the manager who told us it just got transferred to him that morning. Literally had a voicemail from a week prior with the same guy telling us that he got our reservation. After that received an email to pick up the car. With no car, we were supposed to pick up a car that was scheduled for delivery. Tried to call the location back multiple times and got no answer. Called from a different phone and picked right up and just got told “we are working on it.” They lied to us, and then tried to get out of delivering the car. Extremely poor customer service.

We rented a car here. They didn't have the car that we reserved. They reserve cars they don't have. They told us that they could give us another car... For a 25 dollar fee. Which they refused to waive. Nice scam they're running here. I'm not a big fan of that kind of thing.nnI'd go with a different car rental place. You know. One that doesn't lie to you and cheat you.

Very clean cars very quick easy process. Not a fan of the young people that talk way too fast, and try to brush past what you say and don't hear you out when you're talking.

Cars are in good shape but got charged more days than what I asked for. Called and couldn’t get any type of refund on their mess-up. Made time heading into vacation a little upsetting. Very disappointed

I had a great experience working with the IA City team. They were able to meet me at the body shop so I didn't have to have my wife follow me all around town. I also appreciated the flexibility in dropping off the car at a mutually convenient location. When you are having body work done on your vehicle it is stressful enough and I appreciated that the IA City Hertz team did everything in their power to ensure they could be a silver lining to the situation.
