Canceled. Website promised pickup. After making reservation no pickup was available according to location's employee (location decided not to do pickups that day since they reduced their number of employees). Canceled due to misleading information provided by the company.
So I made a reservation for Hertz a couple days ago to go to a wedding in Ohio. They're closed on Sundays so I made the reservation to pick it up on Saturday at 1pm (the time that the website suggested). Funny enough, they close at 1pm, so when I got there at 1pm I saw the person running the establishment watch me try to open the door, go back to my car to speak with my partner about why it's locked already, and then go back to the door as she walked away and got into her car to leave.nnI can't think of anything more rude and unprofessional to do. I'll never rent from them ever again. Enterprise is more reliable.
This place is not in the best location, off the main road but good signs. Nice people.
We had to turn to Anne at the Hertz Groton location several times to correct a billing issue. Anne is very committed to good customer service and we thank her very much for working hard on our behalf.
Horrible experience. Charge $300 for leaving a lighter in the car. They claimed that meant we were smoking. A lighter in the car does not make the car damaged. Never will return if this is not correctednnReservation number J06927421A0
