You all can't believe this. I reserved my car for 11:00 AM on Saturday. I was there right at 11:00 AM, but no one was there to hand over the vehicle! I called customer service; still, NOTHING happened! I had to stay in New Haven one more night just because someone decided not to show up at work! The customer service is so low, and they didn't care about my situation!

This was the most seamless experience I've EVER had with a rental car company. I was a little apprehensive to rent from this center due to the reviews but they definitely stepped it up. I got to the small airport and was greeted by a friendly employee (Sam). He went thru the proper documentation and explained my benefits without pushing any additional products or insurance on me but still giving me a heads up if I refused their insurance I'd be using my own. I was in and out within 7 minutes while picking the car up (around 646pm). Just returned from vacation today and walked straight in after parking my car, put the keys on the counter and again friendly Sam was efficient and I was out less than a minute ! Will definitely be renting from here when ever I need a vehicle!!

My default rental company is Enterprise and have not had issues in the past. This time was different. I rented at New Haven Airport and they are only open 5pm-8pm daily! I dropped off for my flight at 6am. They charged me for the whole day. That is 11 hours I paid for that I did not use the car. The agent, Gaylord, said he will fix it. They did not! I opened a ticket to address with management and they never contacted me or changed the amount.

Branch supposed to be open at 7 am when I had a flight to catch (1 way rental from Westbury). It wasn't so I dropped the keys in the drop box. It says I dropped the car off at 5 pm and was charged an extra day. I then called the (Hispanic sounding to identify her) to the Tweed branch and she said that she was the manager. she then continued to tell me that this since the car was checked in at 5 that I will be charging for the extra day. The website says that they're supposed to be open from 7 a.m. to 5 PM. I got into a big fight with this girl and she wasn't budging. Told her that she wasn't for customer service and set set a bunch of swear words to her the way she was acting towards me ra #97bv8b

We traveling from Colombia, SC to New Haven, Connecticut the minivan that I rented for my family of six was hit by an 18 wheeler when it merged in our lane. One of the Roadside Customer service representatives made a reservation with us to exchange the minivan with one at the airport after two other locations. At 1:40 pm she attempted to reach someone on the phone at this location to verify if they had a vehicle the computer was stating that they did she was unable to. So we finally arrive at this location at 2:47 pm and there was a sign stating they would return at 3:00pm. At 3:10 I asked the Budget Representative did they know how to get in touch with the representative, he told me know but then at 3:20 told us he had just text someone. The gentleman arrive, thanks the Budget Representative and walks behind the desk as if we weren't even sitting there. He didn't apologize or anything, we go to the desk and I proceed to tell him that Roadside assistance sent us there and he immediately told me now they didn't, his tone and demeanor were as if we were bothering him as he was constantly doing something on his phone and then the computer. I tried to explain to him what happened and he told me I had to use my personal car insurance to get another vehicle. I informed him that the accident was not my fault and attempted to show him the accident form but he didn't want any conversation with me. He offered me a car, I tried to explain to him that I was traveling with six adults one is an 82 year old and the other is an 78 year and that I could not use a car. I later find out that he entered in the system that I refused the car. I called my nephew who also works for Enterprise and he had me ask was there a manager there, the gentleman told me no, he had ask was there a regional manager and he again told me no. I put my nephew on speaker phone and he tried to talk with with about National cars if they didn't have any Enterprise cars and again he said nope he didn't have anything we could use. My nephew told me to get his name or employee number and I asked for his business card and his name was ALEXANDER CORDERO, the BRANCH RENTAL MANAGER.... if only you could understand my frustration. I'd been on the road since 9:00 pm the night before, hit by a 18 wheeler and now this gentleman is giving me an unprofessionally attitude and unconcerned about our safety. The vehicle side passenger doors were difficult to open/close, air leaking from the tire and out of alignment. On top of that we were looking at two vehicles in the lot in their parking space. Saturday again he did not assist Roadside Assistance and I had to wait until 12 for the location to open, we called, called and called and by 1:20 noone was still answering at this location. My husband was called the Waterbury which was further put from us and we had 30 minutes to get there so that we can finally get home. I still called up until 3pm and still was unable to get anyone on the line at this location. I've always used Enterprise and never ever had an issue and this this happens and the fact that I am was on the family rental plan is just awful. My entire trip was ruined. I really didn't even want to give a star but to submit a comment I had to. The location was clean though.
