We rented a Dodge Grand Caravan to move our daughter from CT to NYC. It handled well through narrow streets (undoubtedly my hubbies expert driving!) and parking wasn't as bad as we anticipated. They took out the seats we didn't need so we had room for the 7 foot bed frame. Make sure they put the driver's manual in the glove compartment - that would have been super helpful for all those little questions that come up after you get going. This is the second car we've rented from this location and we're still pleased with how easy it is to reserve, rent, and return a vehicle!
It was great! Everything went like clockwork which was great as we were arriving and departing CT by train. At the last minute my husband realized he had left a shoulder bag in the SUV. A very nice young man drove back over to the station with the bag—and we successfully caught out train. It was so courteous.
I have been send two upgrades for a vehicle rental one for my birthday and one for promotional reasons. Last week when I went to rent a car a use of the upgrades for a day trip with my daughter it was refused. I have been a loyal customer with Enterprise and have all my employees use them but after that mess I'm looking elsewhere. Bad PR in this environment. Greg
After a long ride to return a van, we weren’t allowed to use their bathroom. It’s not like I was somebody from the public just stopping in to use the bathroom; I paid a lot of money for this van. You would think that with the amount of money we spent they could afford to have somebody cleaning their bathrooms. But it’s OK that we touch their vehicles, their pens, they take our credit card and we have social interaction. Just bad customer service and not caring about individuals. Only caring about the money.
