Arrived to pick up my rental on time. No one is allowed inside to maintain cleanliness of facility. We waited outside for someone to come. When they did, they were wearing a mask. I was asked for proof of my own insurance when I declined theirs. I was also asked to show what my deductible was, which I have never had to do before, and I've rented from Enterprise and other companies before dozens of times, even as recently as 6 weeks ago, and that was not required. I was given a larger SUV than what I had booked, which would have been nice, but I was trying to avoid having to pay a fortune in gas. When I asked about a smaller vehicle, he said he could do it, but it would take a little while to get it ready. I was there when they opened, so I'm not sure why the vehicles weren't prepped before they left for the night. The car charger wouldn't work so my phone died during my trip. But, other than that, the vehicle was comfortable and clean. Gas was only halfway when given to me. Returned in the dropoff, which was easy and convenient.

Had a great experience with National in Watertown. Whenever I travel I rent from Alamo/National because in all honesty it’s the better place to rent from. The cars are kept clean and are good quality. Not to mention getting an upgraded to a cool car if wanted on the day of picking up the car. I’ve rented in Florida NY and mostly California. This time I rented local due to some car issues and being that the lot was in a town of CT vs a big airport location. The customer service was the same, fast, easy and helpful. I made a mistake online when I booked the car by choosing the wrong date so I showed up at the lot a day early. I really needed a car since we sold our second and the other was in the shop. With reservations being tight National made an effort to get me in a car a day early. I ended up in a car that was probably twice the price but they only charged me for the price of the standard car I ordered. Unfortunately I didn’t need such a large vehicle so I asked to trade it in for a smaller car the next day. They didn’t hesitate to say yes and with a small wait the I was in the car I ordered. Everyone was nice and were on top of their COVID POLICY. I would definitely recommend renting from National in Watertown.

This was the best service I've ever had with a rental. Customer service was fantastic. Alex that helped with my return as well as everyone else I've dealt with during my rental agent above and beyond. Incredibly friendly and prompt service. I cannot recommend this place highly enough
