Budget Car Rental

Because every time i rent with budget i come across with great service and people and with good deals thats why i get budget all the time when im traveling.

This was the worst experience I have ever had w a rental car although Windsor locks location changed my car my experience at the Newington location Berlin turnpike Saturday morning was horrible not only was the women so rude disrespectful and so unprofessional but she was arguing with a male customer prior to my purchase time and she was very rude telling him she will call her manager and let him talk to them in a very disrespectful manner. Once it was my turn to get my car I noticed she gave me a truck they didn’t even have the car I initially Reserved ? Once I got inside my rental the gas Amount was wrong and not only that they were blades in the middle counsel The glove compartment was completely broken once I opened it to put my information the car was never clean in the middle of a pandemic once I went back and told the woman she asked again do you want me to call my manager I don’t have a problem calling my manager for you you can either take this car or I would have to cancel your reservation and then waited called budget headquarters to see if I can get my rental exchanged which I was told I could once I drove to exchange it in the downtown location the man told me I was unable to switch to Reno and I have to go to Windsor mind you I was at the rental place at 12 here we are 2 o’clock and I still had no help I plan for me and my family to go on vacation and use the car to drive there and our vacation was ruined due to budget there’s been a lot of complaints and I will be contacting The Better Business Bureau I would never recommend budget on the Berlin Turnpike location and they really should get rid of that employee and hire people way better customer service

First of all I reserved online and when I went to the facility I was treated as if my presence was an inconvenience. The woman stated they did not have a vehicle for me and she attempted to call her manager after a few seconds she hung up the phone and said well we have another vehicle for you but you'll have to pay for an upgrade. I informed her through my new budget program I enrolled in that I was eligible for a free upgrade so instead of giving me the free upgrade she made me pay an extra $10 a day for this upgrade and stated that was the only discount she could give me. So she hands me the slip we do the transaction she claims that the car had no damage to it and tells me if I noticed damage come back in and let her know. Now when I went out to go see this Volkswagen I was shocked and appalled at the condition they were attempting to give me a vehicle in. I was very concerned about the slashes in the tires so I did inform her of all the damages she gave me a new slip that did show these damages then I informed her I will be taking a road trip and I was nervous that what if these tires pop due to the slashes in them. She pointed to the phone number on the key and said that it had 24-hour towing service and just call that number if the tire happens to pop. Also I had three children with me.. this is very dangerous for somebody to say when they work at such a well renowned facility. Anyway I returned the car after one day and they still ended up charging me for four days ! I called the manager and I still have had no call back to rectify this situation ! I've alerted my bank of the fraudulent charges.

This company should go out of business! The lady that works here is the absolute rudest person!. I waited in line for 20 minutes and when I finally got to the counter, she told me rudely, she’s taking the people in back of me... (she did this on purpose), she then called her manager, and the manager (yelled at me) in the phone and said too bad! She also couldn’t answer any of my questions, couldn’t help me with my rental, couldn’t help me in anyway possible. ABSOLUTE worst, GO TO ENTERPRISE instead please! I’m telling you this lady is going to waste your time, she’s the worst, she should be fired

Booked a car in advance. Everything went as hoped for. The car was there waiting, it was a quick in and out for both obtaining and returning the car. Simple, quick and easy. I will go back to the location for future needs. I spent $100 less than the closest competitor.
