Process was simple, easy, and fast. HOWEVER... the car was not entirely clean, like you would find it back in the day; and it also wreaked of Cigarette smoke. I have 3 very young children, that I decided not to bring in the car, because of the cigarette smoke. There needs to be SOME WAY to get this smoke scent out of the car, before it is rented again. Otherwise, all was good.

I rented an intermediate car (Toyota Corolla or similar) for 27 hours this past Sunday-Monday. At $320 I knew I was being price gauged for the last minute booking and holiday weekend (a google search the night before had rentals around $78, which were gone by morning), but as the person who was driving me while there had car trouble, I had no choice -- I needed to get around and get back to the airport. That said, the car I was given was filthy -- so much so that I had to have the attendant come wipe the windows and the dash before I would touch the inside, which smelled of a combination of cigarette smoke and body odor. This is unacceptable anytime, but during Covid???! In the end, with tax, insurance and gas since I had no idea where to fill up at Newark and had used half a tank, the car cost me over $450!!!!!! The ONLY reason I don't give the experience 0 or a 1 is that the attendants at Avis in Newark were SO lovely I didn't want to discount them.

If I could give this place a 0 I would. DO NOT USE this place. This is the second time I have rented a car from here. The cars reck of cigarette smoke and then they must try to use something to get it out that smells like vinegar. We are in the middle of a pandemic and the car wasn’t cleaned. There was finger prints all over the windows and the trunk was filthy. I paid almost 400 dollars for 5 days and there was parts missing in the car. I’m so sick of the run around you get when you give the car back. All I got was a sorry. Like what the hell does a sorry do for me? This is unacceptable and I will never use this place again.
