The common theme I’ve experienced is that the staff doesn’t mean to be inconsiderate but they come off sometimes as cold, rude, or incompetent.nnWhen I went in to pick up my car, the key needed new batteries. For a reserved car, that should have been ready or they should have offered a different car.nnOne guy seems to know what he’s doing. One other needs training. They all could use some self awareness and basic customer service training. Their computer system is also slow.nnAnother customer was told over the phone that there would not be a charge for returning the car to a different locations. The agent told him it would cost $3,200! For a $300 rental! The irate customer was shocked. The other agent eventually reduced the fee to $100 but not until 15 minutes were wasted.nnI was simply returning the vehicle (as a supposed Hertz “Gold” member), but the agent attended to two other people behind me while working on my case. It took about 6 seconds to answer my question as I was returning the vehicle but he felt obligated to attend to others with no explanation.nnMy car also had smudges all over the windows but they promised me it would not happen again.nnAll in all, I find they are nice guys just trying to do their job, but but a kick to the butt would really help improve service.

The person at the front desk Lightskin woman is very stank. Talks about ever client that comes in an brake the rules for certain people. Lies and said I smoked in the car and I never smoke I’m a Christian. Tried to charge me smoking fee plus wouldn’t accept my debit card as payment but did it for me before.

We needed to swap cars because of mechanical difficulties. We called Roadside Assistance to determine which office would have a car for us. Somehow Hertz lost our contract in the system. It took over 45 minutes for the clerk to take pictures of both vehicles, and type and type and type on his computer and take more pictures of the cars. The employee claimed he was processing our transaction as quickly as possible. Really? TERRIBLE , TERRIBLE SERVICE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. If I could have given zero stars I would have.
